Ken is the Founder and Managing Director of Peer to Peer Advisors. Peer to Peer Advisors is the largest independent peer advisory board services company in New England. Ken’s background includes over twenty-five years consulting with high growth and middle market companies, focusing on marketing, sales and growth strategies. His consulting includes five years as a Senior Contract Consultant for Inc. Magazine. He was one of only four consultants nationally whom Inc. contracted to work directly with the Inc. 500.
Ken recently published his latest book, The Wisdom of Our Peers, which is a compilation of five years of notes from Peer to Peer meetings, sharing the stories and lessons on business that peers shared with each other. Ken writes The Rainmaker column for The Hartford Business Journal, and has written columns for The Boston Business Journal and The American Marketing Association website. Ken also has two earlier books titled The AMA Complete Guide to Small Business Marketing and The AMA Guide to Strategic Planning for Small Business, both published by The American Marketing Association and McGraw-Hill.
Ken has spoken at Inc. Magazine Conferences, National Innovation Workshops for The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and for numerous Fortune 500 companies. He worked with The Department of Defense as a Senior Consultant in their Mentor/Protégé Program, and was a former adjunct faculty member at Boston University and Wright State University’s Management Education Centers.
Panelist: John Seiffer; Better CEO Boot Camp
An angel investor since 2005, John currently serves as President of The Angel Investor Forum and is also on their screening committee. He's a serial entrepreneur and an advisor to several Connecticut companies. Prior to that, he was a "remote control CEO" for a company he owned in Texas and managed while living in Connecticut. John started his career as an entrepreneur in 1979 and started consulting with other entrepreneurs in 1994. He was part of the group that founded the International Coach Federation and in 1998 he was elected to serve as president. It now has over 15,000 members worldwide.

Panelist: Tony Cashman; Cashman & Katz Integrated Communications
Tony Cashman began his marketing career as a communications specialist in the public relations department at ESPN as well as a correspondent in the sports department at The Hartford Courant. Later, as a sales account executive at WFSB-TV3 in Hartford, he honed his account management and sales skills, successfully servicing and dramatically increasing billings on major accounts.
Tony has helped Cashman + Katz grow from a tiny two-man start-up in 1992 to one of Connecticut’s Top 3 rated integrated marketing communications companies. In addition to day-to-day operational and financial management of Cashman + Katz, he continues to develop growth strategies for the agency and its clients. Cashman supervises the public relations, creative, media and research departments of Cashman + Katz and oversees some of the agency’s largest accounts including the Connecticut Lottery, CT Department of Transportation, CT Department of Public Health, United Illuminating, CNG, and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, among others.
Cashman has served on boards and marketing committees such as the Leukemia Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Community Health Charities, Urban League of Greater Hartford and the governor’s advisory board for responsible teen driving.

The Rusconi Company, an investment banking and financial advisory firm located in Hartford, Connecticut, specializes in handling mid-market acquisitions and dispositions; business valuations; raising financing for growth, merger and acquisition activity; and litigation support services. Mr. Rusconi has been involved in over 100 acquisitions and sales of businesses.
